Mumbai: January 05, 2026: India’s three cricket World Cup winning teams: men’s, women’s and blind women, were felicitated by the Reliance Foundation in a function organized as part of the second edition of “United in Triumph”, at “Antilia”, the residence of the Reliance Industries Chairman Anil Ambani, in South Mumbai on Monday, January 05,2026.
On the occasion, Mrs. Nita M Ambani said, “I think we are starting the New Year’s with a very special occasion. All three cricket teams, the men’s cricket team, the women’s cricket team and the blind cricket team of India are all here under one roof, and on behalf of every Indian, we are honoring them for giving us so much joy and happiness.”
Speaking about the unique power of sport and its transformational impact, Mrs. Ambani said, “Sport joins hearts and India. Today we are united in triumph. We are celebrating teams for their victories.”
At the heart of the celebration were India’s three World Cup–winning captains — Rohit Sharma, Harmanpreet Kaur and Deepika TC — whose leadership, resilience and belief have shaped historic victories and inspired a nation.

It may be recalled that T 20 world cup winning team 2024 led by Rohit Sharma beat South Africa by 07 runs at Barbados. The ICC women’ world cup winning team, beat South Africa by 52 runs (Shafali Verma 87 runs, two wickets) (Deepti Sharma 58 runs, 5/39), at Navi Mumbai’s D Y Patil Stadium. The Blind Women’s team won the inaugural Women’ T 20 World Cup for the blind by beating Nepal by seven wickets in Sri Lanka in 2025, chasing down a total of 115 runs.
The evening saw the presence of the World Cup-winning team players — Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues and Ganga Kadam, alongside cricketing greats Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar and Ravichandran Ashwin, Olympic and Paralympic legends including Murlikant Petkar, Deepa Malik and Devendra Jhajaharia, and leading figures from Indian cinema, Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan, creating a rare and powerful confluence of India’s most admired icons.
